The Pupil Premium Grant (PPG) is money given to schools to support children who are eligible for Free School Meals, children who are in care and children of Service Families.
The Department of education states that:
”It is for schools to decide how the Pupil Premium, allocated to schools per FSM pupil, is spent, since they are best placed to assess what additional provision should be made for individual pupils.” (DfE Website)
Evidence from monitoring and data indicates that the desired outcomes of the 17/18 expenditure have not been achieved. Nor relevant actions undertaken.
The school re opened as an Academy in Sept 2018
